What is ISO 27001?

ISO 27001 is an international standard for the management of information security. This certification provides a framework for organizations to establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve an information security management system (ISMS). Part of this audit is the examination of security risks, the implementation of information security controls, and the establishment of a comprehensive management process to continuously ensure that information security controls align with the organization's ongoing security needs.
