🚀 Join fiskaly! Help Us Simplify Receipts for Millions
Millions of people interact with fiskaly every day, even if they don’t realize it. As a B2B company, we power the retail technology behind digital receipts and secure, legally compliant transactions.
By making receipts tamper-proof through digital signatures, we help fight tax fraud. And with our paperless receipt solution, we offer consumers a modern alternative while helping merchants streamline their operations.
Sure, our solutions sound complex but our mission is simple: make receipts easy for everyone.
💼 The Role
You will be the backbone of our internal operations, ensuring our systems run smoothly across Austria, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy.
However, we don't want you to be a "human helpdesk" forever. We want you to be an Infrastructure Enabler. You will manage our diverse device landscape (Windows, Linux, macOS) and our data centers, but your focus will be on efficiency. You will leverage MDM solutions, scripting, and AI-assisted tools to automate routine maintenance, streamline onboarding, and ensure that our tech team has the tools they need without the friction.
🛠️ What You’ll Do
- Install, configure, and maintain our internal IT infrastructure across four European locations, ensuring high availability and seamless connectivity
- Manage the lifecycle of end-user devices (Windows, Linux, macOS) using modern MDM solutions (Intune, Jamf) to automate provisioning and patching
- Apply modern IT practices and utilize AI-driven tools to script solutions for repetitive tasks, analyze support ticket trends, and improve internal service delivery
- Collaborate directly with the product development team to build and maintain our physical data center operations in Germany
- Implement and audit IT security controls aligned with ISO 27001 standards, ensuring our internal environment is as secure as our product
- Handle hardware procurement and asset management, optimizing our inventory strategy to reduce waste and wait times
- Contribute to our long-term IT strategy by identifying legacy bottlenecks and proposing modern, scalable alternatives
👀 What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in System Administration or Internal IT, with a track record of solving complex infrastructure problems
- Deep technical knowledge of managing mixed environments (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Strong experience with modern collaboration and management stacks: Google Workspace, Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence), and MDM tools
- A "Automation-First" mindset: You are comfortable with scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell) or using AI tools to write scripts that solve repetitive problems
- Familiarity with network maintenance (Unifi hardware) and a solid understanding of networking protocols
- A proactive, service-oriented attitude; you enjoy helping colleagues but prefer building systems that help them help themselves
- Native-level or professional German and fluent English are mandatory
- Willingness to occasionally travel to our offices and data centers in Europe
✅ What We Offer
- A team that gives you space to grow, take ownership, and learn from trying
- 25 vacation days per year
- Flexible working hours and a hybrid work setup
- Budget for personal and professional development
- Hardware of your choice (Windows, Linux, or Mac)
- A company culture that values clarity, well-being, and good work over noise
