Another week, another exciting event! Our fiskaly colleagues Stefan Kohlbacher, Lucia Dolce, and Maja Pavlovity participated in the [Tech Day 2023, hosted by the Austrian Retail Association](https://www.handelsverband.at/events/tech-day/tech-day-2023/).

Biscay’s tax authorities have decided to extend the implementation period of Batuz ([which includes TicketBAI](/blog/ticketbai-faq)) in order to facilitate this change for companies and professionals in the province. Thus, compliance with Batuz and TicketBAI will become mandatory, depending on the type of company and in a gradual schedule, from 2024 to 2026. You may consult here [the new TicketBAI implementation timeline in Biscay](/blog/biscay-extends-ticketbai-implementation-to-2026). 

In any case, Bizkaia will maintain the tax incentives for those who voluntarily comply with the new regulations before the established deadlines.
