fiskaly. Strengthens its position in Europe with the acquisition of InfraSec Sweden AB
fiskaly has acquired InfraSec Sweden AB, a former wholly owned subsidiary of Swedish POS vendor Yabie AB. The transaction closing is subject to FDI approval.
The acquisition enables fiskaly to integrate a Swedish cloud-based VAT compliance solution into its fiscalization portfolio and expand its European offering. fiskaly also plans to scale its operations in Sweden, building on the acquired local expertise. fiskaly will benefit from InfraSec’s expertise in Swedish VAT reporting requirements and its leading technological solution for POS providers, thereby strengthening its service offering throughout Europe.
Founded in 2019, fiskaly’s services are already used at more than 1 million points of sale including cash registers. The company operates in Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, and France. Its fiscalization solutions support over 1,600 B2B customers, including major retail chains and leading POS system providers such as orderbird, Lightspeed, SumUp, and ready2order. This marks fiskaly’s second acquisition in 2025, following the earlier acquisition of DF Deutsche Fiskal GmbH in Germany.
Johannes Ferner, CEO fiskaly:
“This acquisition is a major step forward in our mission to be Europe’s leading digital VAT compliance solution provider. By integrating InfraSec’s proven solution into the fiskaly product suite – and making it available to a broader market, now independently of its former parent company – we’re enabling even more merchants and POS providers to benefit from secure, scalable, and future-ready VAT compliance solutions. I’m incredibly proud of our team and grateful to everyone involved for their trust and collaboration. We are excited to shape the future of VAT compliance across Europe.”

Continuity and Benefits for Existing InfraSec Customers
InfraSec operates the leading Swedish VAT reporting service, which is fully compliant with the latest regulations. For existing customers of the acquired Swedish solution, services will continue without interruption under fiskaly’s ownership. Customers will additionally benefit from seamless access to other European markets through fiskaly’s future-proof solutions.
Sven Hammar, CEO InfraSec Sweden AB
“Our business partners can continue to count on the reliable, smart and stable cloud service they’ve always experienced – nothing changes in their day-to-day operations. At the same time, becoming part of fiskaly, the pan-European network and expertise, allows us to serve new customers across Europe and enables us to drive a new generation of fiscal services for the Nordic Area. This opens exciting new possibilities for us and our partners. We’re proud of what we’ve built and look forward to shaping the future together.”
Siri Hyltén-Cavallius, CEO of Yabie Group
"This transaction enables Yabie to sharpen our strategic focus on core point-of-sale software development, accelerating our growth trajectory and market expansion. Simultaneously, InfraSec gains access to fiskaly's specialized expertise and resources in fiscal compliance technology, positioning them for continued growth in the European market. Importantly, Yabie will remain a customer of InfraSec to ensure seamless VAT compliance for our Swedish operations. We're confident this alignment of strategic interests creates value for all parties."
