• Salary: €45,000 - €70,000 gross/year
• Contract: No freelancing, full time

🎯 The Role

You are a Senior Backend Engineer, but we view you as a System Architect. You will join a high-performing squad responsible for our API-first SaaS solutions.

Your job is not just to write lines of code; it is to deliver value. We expect you to use every tool in the modern arsenal—including AI coding assistants and automation—to bypass the repetitive parts of software development. This allows you to focus 100% of your brainpower on complex distributed system problems, architecture, and reliability. You will shape the future of our unified interface and ensure our fiscalization platform scales effortlessly.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

• Architect for Scale: Design and build resilient, high-performance microservices using Golang, taking full ownership from architecture to deployment (End-to-End).
• AI-Augmented Engineering: Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, generative AI) to speed up boilerplate creation, write robust unit tests, and auto-generate documentation so you can focus on complex business logic.
• Continuous Delivery: Embrace a "Continuous Everything" (GitOps) approach, deploying code multiple times a day with absolute confidence thanks to automated testing and monitoring pipelines.
• Evolve the Platform: Design the unified interface for our services, ensuring our APIs are intuitive, strictly typed, and self-documenting.
• Innovate with ML/AI: Integrate AI and ML capabilities directly into our platform where it adds high value, such as anomaly detection in transaction logs or automated error classification.
• Lead & Mentor: Mentor junior developers—not just on Go syntax, but on how to be highly efficient, tool-augmented engineers in a modern, automated cloud environment.

✨ What You Bring

• Deep Go Expertise: 5+ years of full-time Backend Development experience, with a strong preference for Golang and a deep understanding of OOP/SOLID principles.
• Distributed Systems Mastery: You deeply understand the fallacies of distributed computing, eventual consistency, and exactly how to build fault-tolerant architectures.
• A "Force-Multiplier" Mindset: You have experience (or a strong interest) in using AI tools to exponentially enhance software quality and velocity. You don't just write code; you architect solutions that generate code.
• Cloud Native DNA: Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes. You aren't just an app developer; you know exactly how your code lives and breathes in the cluster.
• API & Integration Focus: Deep knowledge of RESTful and RPC-based APIs (treating API design as a first-class citizen), plus familiarity with asynchronous message systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, PubSub) and knowing when to use them over synchronous calls.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and modern database strategies (relational vs. NoSQL).
• Communication: You are a clear communicator who can break down complex, abstract architectural concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
