The new Italian budget law, approved on December 30, introduces changes effective January 1, 2026. It mandates the use of technology ensuring data security, inalterability, and integration of fee recording with electronic payments. Hardware/software for electronic payments must connect to devices recording, storing, and transmitting aggregated fee data (corrispettivi). Technical specifications for software fiscalization will follow soon.
