Sweden is going through one of the bigger shifts in its fiscalization rules in years. If you build or sell POS software for the Swedish market, this free live session walks you through what's changing — and how to prepare before 2027.
Why Sweden is changing now
Businesses that take payment in person have to record every sale on a certified cash register. That part isn't new. What's changing is how: the model is moving away from hardware control units toward certified cloud control systems, and a new journal export requirement is coming in 2027. For POS vendors, that's both something to plan for and a genuine opportunity.
What we'll cover
In 45 minutes, Dariush Shafiee (Sweden Sales Manager, fiskaly) and Sven Hammar (Infrasec) walk through it end to end. No prior knowledge of Swedish fiscalization needed — we start from the ground up and leave plenty of room for your questions.
- Intro: fiskaly, Infrasec, and why Sweden is moving now
- How Swedish fiscalization works — Skatteverket's role, control units vs. control systems, certified cash registers, and receipt requirements
- The shift from hardware control units to cloud / software-only fiscalization
- SIGN SE: adding Sweden through one cloud API (uAPI)
- A first look at journaling and the 2027 journal export requirement — what's coming
- Live Q&A
Who should attend
POS vendors, developers, and product teams who already sell into Sweden — or are thinking about it.
